There are so many weight loss myths that we believe but actually hold us back from achieving our natural, healthy weight. Here are three that sound true and what you can think or do instead.

Most diets or food plans work if you stick to them. The reason they fail is that you stop sticking to the plan. When you “fall off” your diet or eat “off-plan,” it has nothing to do with the food and everything to do with what you think and believe is going on in your life. You talk negatively to yourself and about yourself. This negative self-talk fuels you to create harsh and unrealistic plans.   

Only you can determine which foods make you feel healthy and strong.

 Everyone’s willpower will eventually run out. You don’t need more willpower; you need a new way of thinking about food.  When you eliminate the old diet mentality thought patterns and replace them with more authentic and kind thoughts you begin to create meal plans that are easy to follow.
